Target Internet Development Corporation firmly believes in supporting local businesses and charities.
For the past four years we've built upon strong relationships with many charities, formed partnerships with businesses in the community, and we're working with education institutions in development of curriculum.
Below are some of the businesses and charities we're pleased to be a part of.
DREAM is a not-for-profit organization that builds a community's capacity to better serve youth by providing academic, social and financial support to secondary school students.
Dream offers a four-year, youth-mentorship program that aims to reduce barriers to post secondary education.
The Target team worked closely with Dream to deliver a website that not only helps enable future involvement but also acts as a resource for current sponsors and volunteers.
Paul Christie is a recovering addict and alcoholic who changed his life around in 1999. In 2004 he began sharing his story with children in elementary and secondary schools. Paul has since spoke to 100’s of thousands of kids and teenagers. His program is called be real.
Kids will make better decisions if they receive better education and training early on in their life. Paul Christie shares his story... so gut wrenching that it inspires many and saves lives. We are a proud supporter of saving our children from addictions.
The Northwestern Ontario Sportsmen’s Alliance is a non-profit organization founded in 1998 by a few like minded sportsmen who joined together to defend
interests and concerns as they pertained to wildlife management and conservation issues in Northwestern Ontario.
The Target team redesigned the NOSA site in 2007, adding much-needed functionality and usability for its members, including integrating Pay Pal for online membership payment.
Friday's at Target mean more than just the end of another week, as our staff discard their business attire to dress casually and donate to a select charity.
Below are some of the charities we've been proud to support.
The Press Start Children's Foundation is a charitable organization created to provide the gift of gaming to children in need - whether they are in hospital, shelters, or youth centers. Press Start also endeavors to combat the negative media portrayal of video games as violent, corruptive time wasters. We achieve this by showing the side of gaming most people never see. The stress release and fine motor skill development games provide are exactly what some children require to escape from their situation and into their imagination.
